Signs of Protest
Signs of Protest
We have a few copes left of Signs of Protest, the 2012 softcover book (68 pages) published by PhotoMidwest/The Center for Photography in Madison.
On February 11, 2011 Wisconsin governer Scott Walker introduced a bill to essentially eliminate collective bargaining for the state's public employees, generating protests that lasted through spring. Signs of Protest presents a view into the mood of the protests and a sampling of the messages protestors wrote on their homemade signs during these demonstrations.
